Description   This course will explore the intersections
between biblical interpretation and issues of
gender and sexuality. Students will engage texts
from both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament.

biblical studies, with a focus on postmodern
methods of interpretation. They will also engage
in interdisciplinary study of contemporary

of gender and sexuality in contemporary
communities. Offered as both a live and online

of BSRS 8220 Gender, Sexuality, and the Bible.
